Generic Decadron

The preparation of a corticosteroid drug (generic name - dexamethasone) is intended for the treatment of states due to decreased adrenal gland function; treatment of inflammations evoking from the conditions of severe asthma or allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, some blood disorders, lupus, multiple sclerosis and some conditions of eyes and skin.

Contraindications: intolerance response to some medications, a condition of a systemic fungal infection or if you are on the therapy with mifepristone. The following conditions may require additional attention: states of pregnancy and nursing, problems with liver and kidneys, underactive thyroid, diabetes, or ulcerative colitis, heart problems, esophagitis, gastritis or else. Do not combine the drug with barbiturates, clarithromycin, azole antifungals, steroidal contraceptives, methotrexate or ritodrine, anticoagulants and some others.

The remedy is intended to be taken with meals. Should you leave out a dose do not make up for it taking two at once as it may evoke overdose and unwanted effects. The medication should be kept in a cool and dry place. Be careful giving it to kids and elderly people. The possible effects on the future child are not to be taken for sure, so pregnant and nursing women should consult the doctor before using it.
